confused....?

Ok, I was just looking at the syllabus and trying to figure out where we should be. I'm a bit confused. I was wondering if anyone is clear about the paper? I know that I definitely need to discuss rhetoric and Ramage in class before I will be prepared to write any sort of paper. I hope I'm not the only one. Ok well I just wanted to voice my confusion.
