The Waking

OK fellow Ramage-readers I thought I'd jump on here quickly as I am re-reading the introduction. I always liked that bit of Roethke's poem, "The Waking," that Ramage quotes:
"I find my way by going where I have to go" (13).
"I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow" (29).
So I thought I would check out the entire poem. It's a short one and here is the link to "The Waking."

I can see why Ramage likes the poem and why it is a useful example of "the way," "hodos," and yin and yang. I did, however, find that the lines in the actual poem are a little different than the quotes in Ramage. How about that.
