"What?! I don't want to do that! Whyyyy" <--immediate response to this assignment. THe last thing I want to do is sit here and pick apart someone else's rambling meandering thoughts. The last thing I want is someone else picking apart mine... I hate the blog. I mean, I love it.. because.. what a great way for us to all communicate, but..yikes.. someone is going to actually read what I posted. Oohh, super. First I want to just say that I posted no response to chapter 2... so I'm going to tie that into my ... response to ehammelshaver's blog. I think someone else may have also responded to this blog. Well, anyway.
I work in a happy little independent record store in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. It's the most wonderful place I could dream up at this point in my life. The atmosphere is very much like the restaurant that you described.. when I walk into work I know what I'm getting into.. hours of discussion about music, with both co-workers
and customers...who are usually friends... but not always. The vibe is such that.. we're there to talk about music-you need help finding an album, we'll help you. Hit a few pit stops along the way... chat up about those special albums from those special times.. most people who shop there know that they are welcome to listen, wander, and drift in an out of conversation. It's pretty groovy. And then you have that one guy... who comes in on Christmas Eve. with a list of pop cds that his niece wants for Christmas.. and you better find them now or, or, or............. That guy eventually flips...doesn't realize who he is flipping on, and in turn, is kicked out of the store. I think he should have considered the frame-shift. <--That was the part of the blog where I related/responded to ehammelshaver 's blog as well as talked about chapter two.
I think most of the time when I post a blog I feel frantic and frazzled and "Oh my god schoolwork" ...which is unfortunate for anyone who chooses to read my responses.. but the way you presented your idea was very well-structured and not quite as drawn-out as my own. way to go, keeping it simple-to the point..and colorful.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who is up late, reading the blog :-).
your life back home sounds just like the movie 'high fidelity!' if you and your coworkers haven't seen it, you definitely should. it's awesome.
