In chapter 3 the brief paragraph on pg 112 there is talk of a "cartoon code."
While i could not find the John Callahan comic of the Klansmen, i figured i could at least include a link of some type in my post to some cartoons that are stirring up some anger.
The Danish Newspaper Jyllands-Posten published these doosies at least a month back and riots riots riots have ensued: http://www.humaneventsonline.com/sarticle.php?id=12146
Now some are like those terrible New Yorker cartoons that are pointless. Others have some bite and are exactly critical of how certain Muslim groups reacted.
Who is the gatekeeper for cartoons?
I know that the Philadelphia Inquirer reprinted the comics but the New York Times did not.
One would think international boundries would have somehow dampend the impact of a Danish Newspaper for Muslims we generally believe are in the Middle East. Oh, well mass media flows.
